Dig in for a community garden that feeds Bayview youth.

As part of One City Day, we are joining a community gardening day in Bayview. Volunteers help maintain the garden by weeding, watering, planting, and harvesting, and by caring for the trees and trails. The work supports a youth gardening program that provides hands-on education and healthy meals for young people and families nearby.

How we show up

This is a volunteer service project, not a campaign event. We show up to work in the garden alongside our neighbors and city partners. Bring your energy, and gloves and tools are provided. We are here to serve, not to campaign, and every volunteer signs the One City Day waiver.

Volunteering here does not mean One City Day, its organizers, or the garden's partners support Theo or this campaign.

The details

When: Saturday, July 11, 2026. Plan for about two hours. 

Where: 1030 Oakdale Ave

Cost: Open to all ages. A volunteer waiver is required.

What to bring: Layers, closed-toe shoes, sunscreen, and water. Gloves and tools are provided.
