Calls Ellington “One of San Francisco’s Most Inspiring Leaders;” Joins Broad Coalition of State and Local Officials and Community Leaders in Supporting Campaign

(San Francisco, CA) – Today, local Congressman Kevin Mullin (D-CA) endorsed Theo Ellington for District 10 Supervisor

“Theo Ellington is one of San Francisco’s most inspiring leaders,” said Congressman Mullin, who represents San Francisco and San Mateo Counties. “A third generation San Franciscan, born and raised in the Bayview, Theo has spent his career working to build a safer, more vibrant neighborhood with more affordable housing, more jobs, and more opportunities for all. He has a unique ability to bring people with diverse opinions and backgrounds together to solve complex problems, a skill we need more of in our politics today. I’m excited to see what Theo will do as the next Supervisor from District 10.”

Kevin Mullin is an outstanding public servant with a long history of standing up for our people, our democracy, and our environment,” said Theo Ellington. “I am so thankful for his support. I look forward to partnering with him at City Hall to ensure Southeast San Francisco secures the fair share of federal funding we need so we can build the neighborhood we deserve.”

Congressman Mullin joins a broad and growing coalition endorsing Ellington’s campaign, including State Treasurer Fiona Ma, Senator Scott Wiener, Assemblymember Catherine Stefani, former Mayor London Breed, Supervisors Stephen Sherrill, Matt Dorsey, and Danny Sauter, and community leaders from every neighborhood in San Francisco’s District 10.

District 10 includes the neighborhoods of Bayview-Hunters Point, Candlestick Point, Central Waterfront, Dogpatch, India Basin, Little Hollywood, McLaren Park, Potrero Hill, Silver Terrace, Sunnydale, Bayshore Heights, and Visitacion Valley. Incumbent Supervisor Shamann Walton terms out in November 2026.
