RELEASE: Mayor Daniel Lurie Endorses Theo Ellington for D10 Supervisor

(San Francisco, CA) – Today, San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie endorsed Theo Ellington, candidate for San Francisco District 10 Supervisor.

In endorsing Ellington, Mayor Lurie said: “A third-generation San Franciscan and Bayview native, Theo Ellington has dedicated his life to this city, and he will bring the leadership District 10 needs to build more affordable housing, prevent displacement, and create safe streets and economic opportunity for all.”

“I’m deeply honored to have earned the Mayor’s endorsement,” said Theo Ellington. “San Francisco is on the rise, but we’ve got work to do to make sure that District 10 rises with the rest of the city. I’m confident that in partnership with Mayor Lurie, we can build the neighborhoods we deserve in District 10. That means building affordable, stable housing for working families while protecting long-term residents from being displaced. It means full environmental justice, cleaner air, and less pollution. It means more shelters, supportive and drug-free housing, and job training programs that support real recovery. And it means more police officers, more violence prevention programs, and more jobs and opportunities for our youth. As the Mayor is known to say, let’s go San Francisco! And let’s go District 10!”
