Raises $130,000 from Diverse Supporters, More Than Double His Closest Opponent
(San Francisco, CA)--Today, Theo Ellington, candidate for District 10 Supervisor, announced his campaign significantly outraised the opposition at the December 31st fundraising deadline.

Key details of the fundraising report the campaign will file later this month include:
- Ellington raised $130,000 in just two and a half months of his campaign.
- Ellington raised more than double the total raised by his closest opponent, who has been in the race for almost four months longer than Ellington has.
- Elington raised more than 35% more than the other two candidates combined.
- Nearly 500 donors contributed to Ellington’s campaign.
- Ellington’s donors included artists and writers, students and teachers, nurses, nonprofit leaders, and small business owners from throughout District 10.
“If we truly want to build the neighborhood we all deserve, we must first build a campaign that belongs to neighbors from every walk of life in District 10,” said Theo Ellington. “Today, I’m honored to announce we’re doing just that. I’m filled with gratitude for everyone who made this possible. Today, because of what this community has done, we are leading this race. We are going to win this election in November. We are going to build more housing for our people. We are going to deliver cleaner and safer streets. We are going to create healthier environments for our children and families, more jobs for our workers, and a government that is transparent and accessible to all. And we’re just getting started.”
Ellington’s fundraising strength is matched by a broad and growing coalition of endorsements, including from State Treasurer Fiona Ma, Congressman Kevin Mullin, Senator Scott Wiener, Assemblymember Catherine Stefani, former Mayor London Breed, Supervisors Stephen Sherrill, Matt Dorsey, and Danny Sauter, and community leaders from every neighborhood in San Francisco’s District 10.
District 10 includes the neighborhoods of Bayview-Hunters Point, Candlestick Point, Central Waterfront, Dogpatch, India Basin, Little Hollywood, McLaren Park, Potrero Hill, Silver Terrace, Sunnydale, Bayshore Heights, and Visitacion Valley. Incumbent Supervisor Shamann Walton terms out in November 2026.
